Our Mayor

Kelly Korokis, Mayor

Mayor Kelly Korokis

Hello! My name is Kelly Korokis and I am currently serving my second term as Mayor of the beautiful city of Fredericktown. I am originally from De Soto but moved to Fredericktown in 1987 where I met and married my wonderful husband, Ross (a Fredericktown native), in 1989. We have four amazing children and a son-in-law who we welcomed to the family this past October. I currently work for the Fredericktown R-1 School District as a bus driver and an aide at the Intermediate School.

I believe that Fredericktown has a rich history worth preserving and a future full of potential. As Henry Ford said, “Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.” Fredericktown is successful because of the willingness of the citizens to work together for the betterment of this delightful town.

Who We Are

Fredericktown is located on the outer boundary of the St. Francois Mountains, surrounded on three sides by the Mark Twain National Forest. Our community was settled in 1819 by French settlers. We are the County Seat of Madison County and the home of the historic Madison County Courthouse, built in 1898 and designed by architect,Theodore Link.
